After vacuum has a full charge the green light on the power button comes on. When I place the vacuum on the floor and press the power button, nothing happens. Upon disassembly, I found the control panel to have a few burnt areas. The part number on the panel is 74332-003-0070 (04-10). Do you have a replacement or can you repair the board?
Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued from our catalog long ago. Have you replaced the battery since your purchase? Usually, the battery can last up between 1 to 2 years with proper care. If the battery is dead, then using the power button when it is not on the charging station would work. Have you tried pressing the clean button when the unit is on the charging station?
Thank you. I have a new battery and it is fully charged. I will try pressing the clean button while plugged in. What will that do?
If the battery would be dead, pressing on the cleaning button when it is on the charging station, the robot should start its cleaning, then die once it is leaving the charging station. If there’s no way that you can start the robot while it’s on its charging station, then the problem does seem to come from the control panel.
Pressing the clean button did nothing. Does anyone have that part? Thank you for your help.
We would suggest you to try on Ebay, as this part has been discontinued a long time ago.
Thank you guys for sharing your ideas and experiences. Its true that Roomba Vacuum Modei 4210 is highly durable and its cleaning performance is superior. But recently I bought Roomba 880 Model from another store. Roomba 880 has capacity up to 50% more dust, dirt, debris, pets hair and harmful allergens from my carpeted floor. So, I just love my Roomba 880.
