Roomba battery and contacts do not connect

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering. I have a roomba 500 series robot. The problem is the battery is not making contact with the charging contacts in the well.
There is no “click” when I place the battery in the well. I even bought a new battery to see if it would work. It did not. It will not charge or light up or play a reset tune. The battery well is dry and clean I can’t see any issue but I know there’s something going on with contact not being made.
Any suggestions? I tried to move the contact up and down to no avail. and there are no roomba repair shops :thinking:

This issue can be caused by a defective motherboard or the contact at the bottom of the battery compartment.

If you can join pictures of the contact where the battery is installed, I could help you identify if the contacts can be cleaned or if the Roomba need to reach a repair center.
