We want to give a Roomba as a gift.
We are hesitating between Roomba 780 and Roomba 660.
780 is pricey. 660 is more in our budget but we are not sure it does the job.
He has a Dubberman (short fur) which 780 seems more designed for.
What is the main difference explaining the price difference ?

The Roomba 660 will do a great job for picking up debris and pet hair. It does have the aerovac dust bin just like the Roomba 780.
The main differences is that the Roomba 780 comes with two virtual wall lighthouses to help the robot clean from room to room and then return to the docking station. Whereas the Roomba 660 only comes with one standard virtual wall to block off limit areas. The Roomba 780 also has a dust bin indicator, an LCD touch screen and extra accessories.
If you do not need the LCD touch screen and the extra accessories, and do not mind that the robot does not clean from room to room, the Roomba 660 is a great choice.
