I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.
I have a pretty old roomba 535 and did not use it for 4 years. The battery was dead. When I took the battery out, there was quite a lot corrosions on the charing contacts. I got a new battery 3800mA 14.4v. I kept getting this Charging error 3. The battery seemed to be fine because when I plugged it in, it powered the roomba to do a cleaning cycle. The light was green when the roomba ran. It simply won’t charge after it comes back to the docker. I also tried to reset the software by pushing top and bottom button for 10 seconds. It still gave me charing error 3. What confused me is that the battery contacts seem to be fine, since the roomba can run withe battery. Why does it complain about charging error 3? What prevents the battery from getting charged?
