Roomba 531 Not Docking and shutting down

I have 5+ year old Roomba 531, purchased in the UK. It works well but now does not dock completely, it finds the docking station but does not settle and turn itself off for recharging. I have cleaned the contacts and reset the Roomba by pressing the Dock and Spot button at the same time, but still does not dock. What is the Problem?

Do you have a voltmeter? We would suggest you to test the dock to verify if there’s voltage on the charging contacts. If not, then we suggest you to replace the charging base.
