I have a problem with my roomba 534.
I didn’t use it since a while (2-3 years) and in the past days i started some cycles of recharging.
It seems that everything was working ok until i tryed to clean.
The robot turn on and the vacuum starts to run, but the roomba stands still. It doesn’t move or starts the brushes (or anything else).
It just starts the vacuum.
What can the problem be?

The problem you currently have can be related to the battery, as you have not used the robot for 2 to 3 years.
Usually, if the robot is not used for some times, the battery will deplete and it will need to be replaced.

Before buying a new battery, what tests can i do?
Now i plugged the robot directly to the energy source without passing through the dock.
If you have not used the Roomba for 2 to 3 years, the battery is surely depleted and will not last for more than a few minutes / seconds.
Does your robot last only for a few seconds before shutting off? Is your robot doing any error?
the robot doesn’t shut off.
The motor starts, everything seems to go fine except it doesn’t move and the brushes stand still…
Uhmm… the robot restarted working fine O_O
