I just got a roomba sage 4110 off of ebay, and it worked fine, though the battery was worn down so it didn’t run too long. So I bought a new one but for some reason the charging lights won’t come on and the robot won’t turn on at all, with both batteries. Is there something I can do to troubleshoot this? It is completely unknown to me why it would work one minute and then not work at all the next.

Did the robot work fine once? Or also after a few charging cycles? If it worked just once, it is possible that you received a battery that was partially charged and this is why the robot worked well. It is possible that your robots charging system or charger is defective. Have you tested the output of your charger with a voltmeter? You should have 22V from the output of the charger.
If the charger and batteries are good, it is possible that your motherboard will need to be replaced.
