I am quite sure that I have lost the bootloader file. I can connect to the mini with my iPhone but not my pc. I am trying to burn the bootloader with a second Arduino as an AVR ISP burner but no luck. 2 issues. No reset connection on the mini. I can hold a wire on the spot next to the reset button but not positive on the connection. Is there a reset connection on the board? Next is when I do try to burn the bootloader from the isp, I get an error. Avrdude: warning: invalid value for unused bits in fuse “efuse”. Also 'you probably want to use 0xfd instead of 0x05 (double check with your data sheet first). What does that mean?
Is there an updated wiki for the mini.
Thanks!
Hi,
The Romeo BLE Mini Microcontroller latest Wiki can be found here.
And here is the instructions on How to update the BLE firmware.
It looks like that the fuses weren’t set appropriately when you programmed it the first time.
You might need a High Voltage Programmer to reset the fuses.
This Instructables might help you.
Regards,
I don’t know what you mean by setting the fuses the first time I programmed it? This is the first time I have heard about ‘fuses’.
