We are looking to the robotics community for constructive feedback and ways to improve future RobotShop videos:
Video #1: RobotShop Rover for Arduino: Package Contents
Feedback can include all aspects of the video including the set, starting / ending sequences, transitions, video quality etc. Content of future videos will include everything from using products and building kits to programming and more!
We encourage you to submit feedback directly on the Youtube page or as part of this thread. However, if the feedback is of a personal nature (rather than of the video quality or content) or you do not want it to be made public, you can submit it to the RobotShop Support Center - Education Corner
Hi Cameleon,
The video has since been finalized and the new link inserted. We hope you enjoy it and appreciate your feedback.
Sincerely,
Yes, the presenter in the first video is me, and feedback is always appreciated. There will be many presenters involved, and from different locations. The RB-100 is certainly an interesting board and a video (or series of videos) will certainly be explored.
The RobotShop Rover for Arduino Mechanical Assembly and RobotShop Rover for Arduino Electrical Assembly videos have since been completed and can be seen on the RobotShop Rover for Arduino product page, and on robotshoptv. User feedback and comments are welcome. If you have ideas for videos you would like to see, do not hesitate to inform us.
the link doesn’t work. I don’t find the video:confused:
Coleman, is that you in the video?
I really enjoyed the video, looks professional. Will you be making many more of these videos? I’d like to see a video on that new RoBoard!
Well… it’s really cool. But i’m surprised a bit because it’s only in english. You want so sell a lot of stuffs. I think french and spanish langages should be considered. Also, the video is technical a little bit. A real example using the robot will be really cool to see by the community.
People want to dream when seeing what a robot can do. The main reason I chose the Create platform from iRobot before the Vex one is the videos. I saw that a result with Vex demands more efforts than the Create.
Also, in the end, if people like what they see, they will join the robotshop community and show what they did with their project. It’ll be a huge advantage for robotshop.
I like your company and don’t want it to die.
But the video is great. You did a nice job Coleman.
Jeff
I very much liked seeing the videos about the Robot Rover, especially since I bought the Robot Rover Tank Kit. I would like to have seen it in operation.
The humanoid videos make me want to buy one. They are very impressive. I had no idea something like that is available to the ordinary person or maybe not so ordinary. A little pricey for me though.
What I would like to see is a robot built from individual parts. A discussion about why you would choose one motor or servo over another would be great. And mounting the motors, choosing a frame and wheels or tracks.
Lastly, sensors and more sensors, alone and in combination.
