RobotShop Rover Debugging tools

Hey guys, I just wanted to start a thread to document the different debugging tools one may use to assist when putting together a RobotShop Rover kit. (robotshop.com/content/PDF/robotshop-rover-development-manual.pdf)

Have you had any experience with any of the tools on this thread?

What debugging tools have you used?

How do you debug a robot?

How would you log digital signals?

I guess this is limited to all serial signals only?

I want to setup a “trace” log for my robot… That way I can actually see different runtime behavior through these logs.

Any ideas?
