So here it is… Robotico!! i built it today… will edit this post multiple times to add comments… =) will do some more experiment with it tomorrow… but it already looks hard… now i now why not many people do bipeds… Servos:

Putting all servos at center possition had to rebuild most of it:
You built all of that in ONE day? You are a better man than I am, Gunga Din!
I must admit you have me intrigued - I can figure out what Robotico’s “eyes” are, but what in the world is that perpetually surprised “mouth”? Good looking build thus far. You’ll have to treat us to some video soon and also your impressions as to the strong and weak points and what you would modify. Very nice.
Staring working on the software last night and ummm a bit harder than what tought, first I had to rebuild the entire robot for all servos to be at 1.5ms, then after few hours of movement testing, found out that the leg design wasn’t that good and updated it… Haven’t had time today also should I test movement with the hands attached (doing it like this now) or put the hands back in and use them to help with balancing??
Looks great so far. I have opend my old box of bot parts and have started to tinker with building one of these also. That biped would look nice with one of these:
I design them using Viacad2D/3D and then develop CNC code using VisualMill 6.0. After they are cut, I use a 6" deburing wheel, hand sand them then buff them using polish compound. Takes about an hour of hand finishing but worth the result you get.
