I’m looking for a way to raise and lower a ~15lb camera remotely over IP. It doesn’t have to be silent, nor silky-smooth when moving, but it does have to be silent when it is not moving. A maybe, but maybe not requirement would be to have it on some sort of turntable so that I could pan and tilt it - again, it would have the same smooth/silent requirements (motion doesn’t need to be smooth or silent).
I was searching for ready made solutions around the net and stumbled upon this wonderful world of robotics and then I knew there would be a solution out there.
