Robotic arm: 3 joints

I want to create a robot which functions like a robotic arm.

It will have 3 joints and a payload of 5 kg. It only needs to put pressure in one direcion.

It will be steered from the smartphone.

Can anyone guide me where i can find the parts or if there is already something similar available which I can customise?

Does 3 joints mean up/down, swivel, and grip?

What are you using for power? What kind of actuators? (DC motor, stepper, servo, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)
