I have a question about my master’s thesis , it concerns calculating the torque of DC motors in order to make a robot dedicated to cleaning solar panels,
The robot is moving on an inclined plane as shown in the picture
Knowing that the robot is moved by two motors, And the plane is glass material

@Mounir12 Welcome to the RobotShop Community. If the robot will be fixed at the top and bottom of the solar panel, then it needs to overcome friction and inertia (and whatever other environmental factors you can envision like wind) since it’s not fighting against gravity.
Note that approach seems to require one robot per solar panel, which seems expensive.
