Hello,
I am building a robot arm for a science competition in which the base servo must allow more than 180 degrees of rotation. Besides for very expensive ($350) 270-degree servos, does anyone know of any servos that would fulfill this requirement? A continuous rotation servo will not be sufficient since we need the servo to be programmable to a specific angle. Does the Lynxmotion base rotate kit allow more than 180 degrees of rotation? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jake
The base rotate can physically rotate to any angle, but it takes standard sized Hitec servos only - all of which rotate a maximum of 180 degrees. It seems the best servo for your needs is the 785HB. This is a very unique servo which can rotate 1260 degrees with position feedback.
