Hi,
A couple of questions on the Robot Servo Bracket Set specifically for HSR-5995TG:
-
Pretty expensive - will I benefit greatly from using these instead of standard brackets?
-
Is it possible to use them with double servos on a single axis like the Aluminum Dual Servo Bracket is used?
-
Are they fully compatible with standard brackets?
Thanks
Peter
I doubt it.
As you said, they’re expensive.
While I’ve never used them, I have been using the SES brackets for quite a while, now and can say that their quality is excellent and leaves nothing wanted.
They’re lightweight, but still more than capable of sustaining anything short of a two-story plunge.
(And I doubt if they’d even bend then!)
::scratches head::
If you’re asking if the servos will fit the SES dual bracket, the answer is yes.
By removing the standard back case plate and replacing it with the no-frills, flat variety, they’ll fit any SES brackets.
Or if you’re asking if the 5995 brackets can be used for a dual joint, the answer is a shrug of my shoulders.
Yep.
So long as you’ve got the back casing that’s flat, you’re set.
And, if memory serves, multiple back casings come with each 5995.
