Robot control via mobile phone bluetooth

I have an AL5A robot arm that i can control using bluetoooth from a PC. I want to be able to control it from my bluetooth-enabled phone. Is there a way I can convert to a java ME application or I have to get new codes altogether. Which is best? Which is which?

Hi.
I have connected my robot-control to my laptop. I come to one problem that the robot gets disconnected some times. It happens whenever it goes something far form laptop. I think the problem is due to the connectivity range. Is it so? Please let me know.

The range also counts; just stay within the bluetooth’s connectivity range and see what happens.

Can share what bluetooth devices you used?

I have an AL5D Arm and have tried to use a couple of wireless modules like CM02 & RF04 Transmitter Receiver; as well as AIRcable Serial3 and a AIRcable USB3 Bluetooth devices. But none works. I am using the RIOS software for programming and the original AL5D microcontroller.

Currently, my robotic arm is running with cables, but it would be great if i can make it wireless.
