Robot Cat Litter

Just replaced the circuit board and now it appears my motor is going? Sometimes if I help it around it will go. Also it constantly flashes all 3 buttons or just stays on yellow. it flashes all 3 when it just stops. I then turn it on and off it will go to yellow and run again and then stop. This is when I help push it along and it will work until it has to go back the other way.

Is this the motor or a faulty circuit board? The robot did work for a few days after the circuit board was replaced.

Anybody please help.

Does the motor seem to have a hard time turning when it turns? If not, there could be a switch that is stopping the motor. For example, the cat switch or the safety line switch being triggered.

We suggest to remove the globe and pull and push on the safety line a few times to makes sure that it clicks properly. You May also remove the drawer and cat sensor cover to see that the switch in the base is also clicking properly.

Then put the Litter-Robot back together and try again. If the motor is still stopping, we would recommend replacing it.

Ok thanks I will try that.

I appreciate to timely response

IS there a wire that is supposed to go from safety line switch to the switch?

The safety line is not connected to a wire. It is simply the mechanical movement of the safety line that will trigger either a switch or disconnect a piece of metal (removing contact) to indicate that the safety line was moved.

We hope this helps.
