Can’t Help Myself…

DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER !!!..

Lost in space was one of my favorite shows growing up.

I always wanted the robot from the show.

It will be great to see someone take on this project and make a working version.

Looking forward to seeing more from this.

What a fun bot!

Very cool.  What a fun shell to work with!

My favorite was bot was similar, named “Robbie” I think, from “Forbidden Planet”, circa 1955.

Audio

That’s actually one compact robot… can we assume you’re plannign to add audio (MP3) playback? Perhaps sptray paint the orange Tamiya sprockets. That really is a good sized robot for hacking.

Mp4 !

Cool Tips Mr Cbenson , my bot almost had a speech module ( ISD 2590 chip ) limited to 90 secs to Rec & Play

"speechies from Mr Tufeld  " , end asap i gonna take-out the ( orange ) from her feets , thks a lot for your " Tips "

  hug Man !

This is so cool! You are obviously very talented! I have the same robot, but I will likely install a pre-made light and sound kit.

I would like to turn the torso and head crown both to the right and back to center or to the left and back to center, slowly and independently of each other. Not even computer controlled. Just push button.

I have no clue where to start or what to do, though, as I am a noob to this end of things. Any guidance or pointing to a basic tutorial would be greatly appreciated

Again, kudos on your “Mechanical Marvel”!
