Robophilo

I am a student and in our computer programming class, we are assembling and programming the RoboPhilo. We have the robot successfully assembled, but we are having issues controlling the robot through the software supplied on the CD. The software successfully connects the robot via the com port cable to the computer, but when we click disconnect, and go into the pose tab, no commands initiate. We are also having issues with the left leg servos. When we plug in the motor to the board and calibrated it a few days ago, it was fine but now when we plug it in and all the body parts are supposed to move into their default positions, the left leg motor (thigh motor) makes the one lag turn sideways. When we attempt to re-calibrate the left leg motor by following the steps again, when we turn on the motor, the leg is in its proper position (like the other one) but we can not turn off and move it manually (it moves towards the other leg but not away from the body)

When we are using the software, errors popup in Chinese (operating system is in English, we only understand English).

Would it be possible if we can do a live chat to overcome this problem?

We are able to chat between 9:40AM-10:40AM EST.

We can also do it over the phone if it is easier.

Hi,

We’re sorry to hear that you’re having problems with the RoboPhilo software and motors. These problems seem to go beyond the first-level support that RobotShop is able to provide, so we recommend you contact the manufacturer’s technical support directly at [email protected]; they would be in the best position to solve these problems.

If the manufacturer determines that the robot is broken, you need any replacement parts or have issues with communications, please send us a message in our Support Center with your order number so we can assist further:

Best regards,
