I have a lot of problem with my roboard.
I have followed the tutorial to install the Debian distribution. (which is very good)
But I can’t configure the web connection, and in that way I can’t install any package of Debian !!!
So I can’t do anything…
I have tried # aptitude install pppoeconf, but the roboard can’t go on the Debian ftp, so I can’t download the four packages that I need…
I haven’t found any tutorial on the website “roboshop” or “roboard” which explain the steps just after the installation, they explain how to configure the web connection but it doesn’t work in my case…
It’s the same for SSH…
Is there anyone who can help me ?
That was the problem I did google it and got ALOT more information then nessesary. Most of it was commercial products. I will narrow my search to ghost32, thanks.
dubaron.com/diskimage/ appears to be what I am looking for. Will give it a test run when I get home. I will attempt to copy the roboards microsd card from one card to another and verify it is a valid way to backup and restore the roboard’s disk.
Are you using the Debian ghost file? If not, it may help save you a lot of time and trouble since it comes fully configured and the internet connection should work immediately. Contact us via the support center if you would like the link. Which board did you purchase? RB-100 or RB-110? If you are in fact using the the Ghost, please indicate so and we will contact the manufacturer to see if they have any suggestions.
Ghost32 (the newest version) is fairly inexpensive and is very easy to use and reliable. You may be able to find previous versions (which are DOS based) for free on download sites.
