Ripple Gait!

im looking for a inline hexapod ripple gait, or even better, and more to the point a quadruped gait! i know jim is working on getting a quad gait so it is avalible on the website “thanks for that”!

i have studied the ripple gait closely and i have realised that with a few tweeks i can produce a quad gait for it… …i think!

if anyone as either of these codes id very much apreciate it.

Use PowerPod to generate code for you. in-line or round.

That’s interesting, as a hexapod uses (typically) a tripod gait. You can modify the above code to produce a terapod gait, but I doubt if reducing a tripod to two legs would work adequately. But keep us advised!

i have PP and iv used it many times but how can i modify the code to produce a terapod gait! not an expert and editing the code although i have done a bit in the past.
any input on this?

Increase the number of legs! expand the loops used to calculate IK data!

Basically go through the code and flush it out for 8 (or more) legs. Tripod up and Tripod down then “move” 4 legs each.

Yeah, too bad the 'bot can’d just move two legs for a quad, then you’d already have it!
