Hi,
I am a student at Shenendehowa High School, and we are using your robots in class. Unfortunately, every computer in the class seems to periodically freeze up (generally more than once a period) and it requires us to restart our computers. The mouse stops working, the keyboard won’t work, and the only way to fix it is to cold reboot and restart. It is really hindering us from using these robots. This is the first time we have used these robots in class, and it would be great if we could!

That is a description of what is going wrong. Now please provide us with some useful information… Being that we have been selling these arms for 16 years and no one has reported anything like what you are describing, lets find out what you are doing differently than everyone else.
Please describe in detail your computers information;
Operating system(s)
Network protocol(s)
Serial port or USB to serial cable(s)
RIOS program location, and detailed installation info.
When the computer locks up does it effect one or all PC’s?
Are there any errors displayed?
Which arm are you using?
Our ability to help you is directly related to your ability to provide a clear and broad description of what you have and how you are using it. We can’t assume anything and the info provided so far is really not helpful.
