RIOS Configuration Problem

I´m a new user, and i have a problem, when i start the RIOS v1.06 program and run the All=1.5mS test, my robot arm does not stay in the position on the picture below. There is a way to calibrate the robot?

Moved this post to a new topic.

This IS the way to calibrate the robot. What exactly is the robot doing when you say that it isn’t staying there? Do you mean that it’s going limp or that it’s staying in a different position?

it´s stays in a diferent position.

the elbow is almost horizontal, and the base rotate is not streight ahead.

To use the RIOS Arm control software, you need to make one minor modification. Remove the servo horn screw from the elbow servo. Pull the servo horn off the servo, lift the arm two ‘clicks’ (30°) at the elbow and reattach the servo horn and screw. Note, the Hitec spline has 24 grooves, so each groove is 15°.

If any of the other joints are off by less than 15°, then you can fix that in the next part of the calibration. If they’re off by more than 15°, then you will need to correct this by pulling off the servo horn and adjusting it.

thank you!
much better now, but still some parts are off by less than 15°.

Have you looked through the assembly guide for your arm? All of this should be covered in it.

I will check that now.

thank you for all.
