So I’m looking for RF receiver/transmitter that has TTL output
i want to place the RF reciever in a drone, and i want the drone moves to the transmitter location ( i want to the direction or the location of the transmitter taking in the account that the receiver is carried by the drone) can i use this pair for this porpuse picaxe.com/Hardware/Add-on-M … iver-Pair/

Using a set of transmitter and receiver will not give you any information about the location of the modules.
You will have to use a GPS locator / module to get positioning.
You might want to look at the Reach RTK Kit Multi-GNSS Accurate Positioning System
Or other sensors available in the Localization & GPS category.
Hi, can you propose other methods, the system you provided me with is expensive, can i apply concepts like RSSI or TDOA in RF in order to know the location/direction ??
Up to you to choose the method you want but in all cases it will require you to build you own application.
The easiest would probably be to have a flight controller which include GPS positioning rather than trying to do an Add-On system.
i don’t want to know the location of the receiver/drone , i want to know the location of the emitter which will be placed on a table for example. i want to know if i can do that using RF pair , applying some concepts or cheap devices.
There are a lot of ways to achieve this but they will require programming your own solution.
You could use two cheap GPS module and compare the values, you could as well take a module and get the RSSI but this won’t be really accurate.

The GPS solution will not work indoor since you need to have clear sky view.
Some products are available for indoor positioning but are expensive and/or not made to do what you aim at.
