Replacing a stepper motor

I have purchased a linear guide that came with a Nema 23stepper motor 57 ( item number 23hs5628). I would like to know if you have a normal 12 V DC motor that I could purchase to replace this stepper motor? I plan to use the linear guide for forward and reverse only at a fairly low speed, about 6 mm/s.

Or alternatively do you have a inexpensive way to control my existing stepper motor? please keep in mind that the only thing I have is a 12 V power supply.

This is the item I purchased aliexpress.com/store/produc … 51078.html

Are you up for an arduino and an easy stepper driver board?

Yes, can you tell me more?

Some NEMA 23 compatible stepper motors:

Normally the controller / program determines the RPM.

There was a recent thread on using an Arduino and a shield.

Look that over, I think it might be what you need.
