Replacement of the Stepoko electronic card

Hi !

Is it possible to replace the Stepoko electronic card ? If yes, where can it be found and if not which card could I install in its place?

Unfortunately, Sparkfun retired the product from their catalog and is no longer for sale. But you can find all the specifications of the product on this page.

You could replace it with another board running GRBL, if you are not very familiar with this you can read more about it here. Some options are the CNC xPRO V4 Controller, the Carbide Motion PCB, a CNC shield (you can find some in the Machine Accessories section).

You could also ask for an alternative in the Carbide 3D forum as that community has much more experience in these matters.

I can install the Carbide motion pcb without replacing anything else and it would be functional?

The Carbide motion PCB is not a direct replacement because it does not include a heatsink, but you can get more details about it here.

So I just have to install heat sink on the chips (and maybe add a fan) and it would be ok?

The Carbide3D board is usually bolted to an aluminum mount, nothing fancy.
Standard heat sink could do the trick.
