I’m thinking of using one of the arms to mount a webcam for a cheap alternative to a motion controlled camera rig. I would remove the ‘grab’ at the end and retro fit the camera on. I’ve been looking at some of the videos and am concerned about the stability of the arm not only to hold the camera steady, but also to return it to the exact same position after the system is rebooted or after the arm has been driven to another position. I have had some experience with servos in that past and know how they can shudder. Does anyone have any experience on this they can share?
