Removing RB-CRY-176 custom coupling

Can the custom coupling on the window motor be removed temporarily? Need a different configuration, easily acheived on a lathe. Has anyone successfully done this?

Are you sure you wrote the product code correctly?

I couldn’t find any RB-CRY-176

Suspect you meant RB-Cyt-176 (DC gear motor with custom hub):

Tried to remove the hub a few times but it really seems press-fit onto the shaft. There’s nothing evident that can be undone to remove it like a set screw etc. Sorry.

Thank-you for responding. I kind of came to the same conclusion. I didn’t want to risk destroying the unit, I think I have a work around by lowering the motor on the mounting plate and fastening a new pulley in top using the three pretapped holes.
