Hello, I am looking to learn what I need to build a remote snow blower. I look online, but all I see is super expensive stuff.
I am an Auto Mechanic, but I’m unfamiliar on the robotics side of the world.
What would I need to drive the wheels or should I use a track system? Also what kind of controller or solenoid would I use to run the throttle, belt engagement (auger) along with any safety stop system and the RC unit itself.
Any tips or links would be greatly appreciated.

The system will likely be electric (DC gear motors, DC motor controller etc.) rather than gasoline (unless you really want to go that way). There are quite a few questions here, so you might want to come up with a preliminary design.
In order to move heavy snow, the robot needs to be quite powerful. Given that it houses electronics, it essentially needs to be waterproof and operate in low temperature conditions.
