Hello everyone,
I am not well-versed in any of this type technology, but find it extremely intriguing and I am trying to learn more and build my own gear driven remote control moving target. I require the ability to mount this unit to a cable or rope and have the ability to speed it up or slow it down as it moves through its envelope.
Overall, envelope distance: 100meters-200metets
Weight capacity: 25 KG.
Speed capacity: 25-35 Kilometres an hour
Distance from motor to remote: 100 to 200 m
There is generic units available, but I am trying to build something with adjustable speed and distance to assist youth in training And also up to advanced students.
I greatly appreciate any assistance.
Thank you very much in advance.

I tried a few times to send a link. I believe the last attempt should allow you to access and view that generic system. Thank you in advance for trying to assist. I’m looking forward to hearing what anyone has for ideas
Dynamic Range XL is the link I was trying to send in the previous text. I’m trying to create a faster more powerful unit with greater range. I appreciate any assistance. Looking forward to chatting with anyone that’s willing to assist. Thanks in advance and thank you Igor . I’m very much excited about this project. After this one, I have to design an automatic opening gate to my property.
First a motor and sheaves for running on the cable would have to be acquired. Then the remote control access. I’m going to assume Bluetooth or radio frequency signal due to the distance away. I would like it to be operated at.
Thanks for the direction. That’s a very smart idea.
I will look into what they have available, but I still would like to build my own unit. I just need to chat with someone that knows about the motors and speeds that can be attained from them and the ability to transmit for remote control to the motor.
In fact, there are quite a few solutions for remote control of electric drivers, lighting, etc. based on an Android phone, but this usually always requires the Internet and proprietary drivers for such devices.
If this option is suitable for you, then you need to look in this direction.
As an alternative, there is such a wonderful software and hardware platform Beeptoolkit, which works on any PC running Windows 10 (LTSC) and in addition to controlling electric motors, it allows for many more opportunities for different ideas. Here is an example of controlling stepper motors.
I will view that information that you have forwarded. I will say I am limited to cellular communication for this project. And or possibly Wi-Fi. I’m not sure if I can carry enough distance for the Wi-Fi. Thank you for the direction. I look forward to investigating what you sent.
