a little picture update and another video with a gp2d12 to detect object
i’ve just received springs.
Nice work!
Did you use a pre-programmed IC for the SSC, or write your own?
Alan KM6VV
thanks Alan,
I modified the the Fribottes’s source code (mplab asm) and the circuit.
it was to learn PIC16f84
2 connections are possible: db9 or ananother uC by jumper
regulated 5v power supply or not for the servo by jumpers
i’ve also added status LEDs
I used vb6 to program on windows
Would that be:
The French site? (toggle flag for English).
You must be talking about this project:
fribotte.free.fr/bdtech/8servomoteurs/8servomoteurs.html
Actually, I didn’t see an RS-232 level converter or DB9 connector, so I’m guessing they are your additions. Again, nice work. And all that in a PIC16F84! Source code appears to be available (ASM).
Sometimes I need a little help with the French, but one can get the general idea quite easily!
Alan KM6VV (Marconette)
it’s the good site.
i’m confused, i don’t speak english but i understand
it’s another video using this ssc.
no eeprom at this time
OK I see, you’ve got a transistor lever converter!
Can you get PIC16F88 chips over there? I think they’ve just about phased out the old 'f84 chips. I’ve used them (and many others) in the past.
I like the 18F4620 and 18F2620 chips. But I program them in C nowadays.
And I can’t speak French!
Alan KM6VV
we can have everything from internet(farnell, digikey, etc…)
i received a 18F4620 yesterday to test xbee circuit. I don’t program it in assembler. lol
xbee remote control is in progress.
I’m working on the sketch…
Oh OK. You just have to pay postage and import tariffs.
Have fun with the '4620. One of my favorites!
Alan KM6VV
hi, after some hours, here is the first test of my Lynx6 with the remote control https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3JHNH-TSXo
gethservo in the xbeerover.bas is replace by idle=hservoidle(pinnumber) for the 2.0.0.5 of IDE for bap28.
custom declaration + new constants are been defined for this arm + some lines were removed
Hay, moves great!
Might want to get a close-up of the arm too.
That’s quite a bit of really nice looking plastic work.
Alan KM6VV
Hi Alan,
I made another one, i need to edit it.
I’ve realized watching it.
closeup
VERY Smooth movements, fluid, almost like a dance! You should set some moves to music!
Alan KM6VV
i’ve added an instrumental music;)
Nice!
