Regarding the motor torque & robotic arm length calculations

Dear,

I want to know, how to calculate the motor torque with respective to the robotic arm length... I tried some of calculations.
But i did not get an accurate answer. Please teach me how to calculate the motor's torque based upon the arm length and weight with some examples.

And also i want to know the motors used and their torque in  OWI-535 robotic arm edge kit.

Hi Dinesh,

We do not have the information regarding the OWI arm, those are DC motor with gearboxes integrated in the conception of the arm.
