Recording and playing a sound

Hi!

Hi,

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

I would like to build a device where I can record 1-20 or more short sentences (10 seconds) and play them: Needs to be simple. I noticed that RobotShop has a module which records 10 seconds and play back with the use of a speaker. I need more than 1 recording. If you can suggest what do I need to buy from RobotShop I would appreciate.

Do you need the device to record the audios or do you just need it to allow you to play them?

Can you record the audios and save them to an SD card? Because if that’s the case you could use an MP3 shield, like these:
