I forgot about those - yes, they’re pneumatic actuators. They’re not needed to allow movement to occur. I’m just not using them in the video because they weren’t powerful enough or easy to control.

i had difficulties running mindstorm application LMS-EV3 on my mac. It crashes frequently and harms the system’s motherboard. Can anyone tell me the alternate way?
