If you’re building your own, the total thrust of a normal quadcopter design should be (napkin math) at leasr two times the total weight of the drone. Because the rear motors are angles, the math changes, but you can see that the total thrust is not directed downward (only a percentage), therefore the total thrust of all four motors needs to be greater than 2x the weight of the drone. T-motor is great in that they provide thrust data based on propeller type and battery.

No particular reason it just that on the details for the larger V-Tail model it said 45mm motors or smaller so wanted to see how much they were to put the max size motors on it.
