Recommend robot vacuum

Hi!

We live in a convent w/2 areas to clean: a second floor bedroom area w/low-pile carpet (3034 sq ft) and a dining room (tile, 2485 sq ft). We DON’T want a robot controlled w/a smartphone or Alexa – we don’t have or want either of these. I looked at the Makita but it might be a little large for our uses. Some of the devices on the comparison chart don’t have sq ft capacities. Any recommendations you could make would be appreciated so we can stop vacuuming!

Hi @sm and welcome to our forum!

And, sorry for this late reply.

We are glad to hear that you are interested in our cleaning robots.

As you already noticed, Makita is a great and powerful robot. But, it is intended for industrial use and yes, it is probably too big for your purpose.

Our Neato cleaning robots are great, but they are all Connected versions.

Deebot OZMO 950 (https://www.robotshop.com/en/deebot-ozmo-950-vacuum-mopping-robot.html) is great, since it does vacuuming and also mopping.

Do you know how much you are willing to spend?

Hello! Thanks for your answer. We’re willing to spend a few hundred dollars to get a sturdy “worker” so the Deebot would be in our price range.
should i look at how long the robot runs before charging as a guideline? It takes us humans about 1 1/2 hrs to vacuum the enclosure.
thanks! SM
