A general idea is to have the right floor cleaning machine (whether robotic or non robotic), and also ensure to have the right cleaning tools to complement the machine - for instance glass & window area require attention, stains on the floors need to be scrubber out using proper scrubbing tools, a mopping tool can be used for areas with higher footfall, etc.
In this case, we would recommend either the Neato XV-21 or the Signature Pro that both can clean a large area methodically and will return to recharge and then to where it left off if it did not complete the cleaning of your entire home. Both also come with a pet brush and filter in order to pick up hair and debris.
