I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.
Description:
Hi,
I am interested in the Emlid Reach UAV Mapping kit (Product Code : RB-Eml-13). I would like to purchase one of these products to conduct surveying over long range via radio link. I am trying to determine whether I will need to purchase the kit and an additional radio antenna to allow the Reach M+ and the Reach RS+ communicate. Does the Reach RS+ have a built-in radio antenna already? Please advise. Thank you.
The Reach RS+ comes with a radio antenna, hard carry case, thread adapter, and USB cable. You can use the Reach RS+ to receive corrections data over the Internet from your local NTRIP provider or to set up your own base station and stream over the network via NTRIP/TCP or LoRa radio.
You can install the Reach M+ in a drone connecting to the camera hot shoe port which is synced to the shutter.
After the flight, you can download the RINEX logs from your airborne Reach module and a base station. You can find more information about this here and some other FAQ Reach RS FAQ.pdf (74.9 KB)
