RB-Wav-52 connection

I want to purchase this display to connect to a device that has 3 pins that seem to be in conflict with the description of the display. The display literature says the display is RGB so maybe this display will work.

The conflicts are pins 1 and 2, on this display the pin definition is “Backlight power supply connect 5V” for both pins. On my device the pins are for
pin 1 VBL -
pin 2 VBL +

Did I read the data sheet correctly?

The second conflict is easier and I think I understand. Pin 35 is a pwm adjustable blacklight control and on my device the pin is tied to ground.
The data sheet says the lowest pwm duty cycle will be the brightest blacklight, consequently the content I draw on the display will be the brightest.
Am I correct about this? If so this seems to not be a problem.

The device I want to connect this to is an STM32F7 Discovery board.

Hi,

The 10.1" Capacitive 1024x600 LCD Touch Screen is intended to work with MarsBoard RK3066, MarsBoard RK3066 Pro and MarsBoard A20.
As we don’t offer the STM32F7 Discovery board, we can’t guarantee that it will be directly compatible with the 10.1" Capacitive 1024x600 LCD Touch Screen.
We suggest you to contact directly the manufacturer through their technical support email ([email protected]) as they might provide you with more information about this.

Regards,
