Our school ordered two of the RB-SHO-03 550mm RTF quadcopters. The directions that came with the units is extremely difficult to understand. We have been unable to get the units to fly or even seem to communicate at all with the remote. Again, the poor directions have also left us unable to orient/calibrate the unit. Also, the manual listed on the Robotshop website does not seem to be an operational manual at all but rather a manual on how to download and use software.

Where can we get better operational directions?

This copter is supposed to work out of the box without any setup required.
The manual available on the product page can guide you on how to setup and test the copter and get more out of it with the Mission Planner software.

It’s flight controller is an APM 2.6 clone so you can get any information about this controller online too.
