Can you answer the following questions about your RB-FIT-03 4.8v 9g Micro Server Motor, please?

  1. what is the length and diameter of the motor shaft?
  2. is the motor reversible by switching the polarity of the leads?
  3. can the motor be operated at a controlled rate using PWM?
  4. one comment mentioned that the shaft rotates only 180 degrees . . does it rotates back through 180 degrees beyond that?
  5. is there a specification sheet available for this motor?

The shaft is not standard - it really fits only with the included horns. Note that it has a servo spline as opposed to being a solid cylinder.

No, that is not how servo motors operate - you need a servo motor controller to send RC signals

You need to send a pulse between 500us and 2500us which corresponds to -90 degrees to +90 degrees. It does not operate the same way as a DC motor.

No, it is mechanically limited to -90 to +90 degrees, or 0 to 180.
