Raspberry pi tor WiFi router

I would like to build a raspberry pi tor WiFi router using the Pi Zero W Starter Kit from robotshop.com. do I need to add anything else, ie power supply or heatsink?
Thanks for any help.

Hello @Slingshot and welcome to the RobotShop forum,

Yes, you will need a 5V power supply, 2A should be enough, you can find some options in the 5V DC Wall Adapters section of the store. You don’t necessarily need a heatsink but it won’t hurt to use one and they are very cheap. And for the initial set-up is very helpful to have a monitor/tv (you can connect it through the mini HDMI to HDMI cable or adapter included in the kit) and a keyboard/mouse combo (same receiver), or if you have a separate mouse and keyboard, you will need a USB hub to attach both to the USB OTG cable. That’s pretty much it, there are lots of tutorials online on how to set everything up but when I was doing my research I found this one which might also interest you:

Which also uses this:

This means that you wouldn’t need the power supply because you would power the Pi from the computer.

I hope this information helps you!
