Starting simple, expansion board, leds
Do you have the cable from PI 3 to this expansion board ?

Also, please offer what else I might need to connect PI 3 to Leds

Yes, then I need to learn some Python to turn on/off these leds

Hi Mike,

We do not seem to currently offer a IDC 40-pin cable by itself. That being said, you can get one with this product: RB-Ada-274. As a benefit, you also get a breakout board for using your RPi with breadboards and other things.

Well, for LEDs you would need some resistors with them, to prevent them from burning up. You can find many of those components here. We also have kits for RPi use, such as RB-Mok-01 and RB-Mok-05.
