The application that I would like to address is a means to have a Radio Activated switch that would control a 120vac flashing beacon, when a Lift Truck is in range.

I would need a radio activated switch that would activate when it senses a signal transmitted continuously from a active Lift Truck.
The radio signal would be continouous and its range can be adjusted. (mounted on Lift Truck 12vdc)
The switch would turn on when the signal is received and turn off at loss of signal (controlling stationary Flashing Beacon 120vac)

What components would I need to purchase to make this happen.

Hi,

You can probably use an RF Relay Switch like the SeeedStudio 2-Channel 315MHz Wireless Relay Switch.
The transmitter will be continuously transmitting the RF signal to the Relay receiver board. Its transmission range is about 100m.
