Question regarding LIPO battery

Hi does anyone know how connect this battery? i believe it can be charged with one set of the wires and the other is for powering.Link to battery: https://www.robotshop.com/ca/en/148v-4000mah-40c-4s-lipo-battery.html

However, my issue is that i have to connect this battery to this wire cable via the pointy leads, so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to do it with this battery which has a different type of connector.
Thank you!!

Hi @frank_25 and welcome to he forum!

Generally they come with 2 lugs:

One is the main plug you charge/discharge through.

The second is for balancing. It’s connected to each cell, and a balancer/balancing charger will charge each cell up individually, bringing their voltages up to an even level.

Regarding connector, you can always strip the wires and solder them together. Or, find a male plug for your cable that fits the battery (in this case it is XT-60 connector) and install it.

Hello ,
Using the pic below to clarify, the connections circled in red are used to power actuators and the one circled in blue is for charging the battery, correct?
Thank you for responding!!

Yes, that would be the best way!

Are you building a robot?

Thanks!
Im building an attitude control system using reaction wheels(gyros). The EC motor has a controller rated for 24 volts so i was thinking about buying three of these and connecting them in series to power 3 EC motors and a beagle bone black.

Cool  We hope to see it working soon
