Question re SOUND2 Command

Reference Basic Micro Studio Syntax Manual Version 2.0:

Page 197 describes the SOUND2 command which appears to permit two-note chords. It does this by assigning each of the two notes to a different pin. (It describes using p0 and p1.) It also gives a wiring diagram for connecting a piezo speaker to p0 and refers back to the identical speaker diagram shown with the SOUND command.

I understand that to use SOUND with BB2 and BAP28 I need to redirect the SOUND command to p9.

How do I use The SOUND2 command with BB2 and BAP28 (or with any single speaker)? Can I redirect both p0 and p1 to p9 simultaneously? Do I need to provide some form of isolation between them all, perhaps small capacitors or RC circuits or diodes to prevent cross-contaminating p0 and p1? Or is it necessary to provide an entirely separate speaker to handle the signal from p1?

Thanks, Ted

Use either a separate coupling cap for each pin (pin 9 plus a second pin), or use a pair of 390 ohm resistors to sum the two signals together before the coupling cap.

See the MBasic manual.
