Question RE: BMS Board for Charging Li-ion Battery Packs

I have a question for the community for which I cannot find an answer on the Internet and ask for help.

I am building a 3-Cell 18650 Li-ion 11.1V 3000mAh battery pack to power a Robotis Bioloid. I purchased a HH - P3-10.8 BMS PCB specifically designed for 3-Cell 18650 Packs. I understand the wiring diagram (see picture) but need to ask a question regarding charging the pack. There is no information covering this on the Internet for this HH - P3-10.8 BMS Board.

I understand the wiring diagram but need to ask a question regarding how to charge the pack.

Do the Pos and Neg solder pads also work for input voltage for charging the pack or do I need a 4 lead wire harness (connected to the cells directly) to balance charge with a Li-ion Battery Charger?

I have seen information regarding the use of some BMS PCBs for also charging cells but these all indicate that this is not the proper approach for battery life and charging fully. Yet, I have seen and own Li-ion packs (all with BCM) which both do and do not include a separate charging cable for Li-ion charging.

Can someone please advise?
