Doe this version has left hand and right hand version or you just flip it around for both.

The first two links are of the same gripper but with an attachment on it. IMO the little grip kit is the best!

…to pick up a cup - you have to ask yourself, shall I grab it by the rim or around the sides.

a flimsy cup would be easier to manipulate by gripping it from the top with one “finger” inside the cup and the other outside, …gripping it by the rim.

a fairly stiff cup would be easier to grasp around its sides, unless the cup is too large in diameter for the gripper, then a different “finger” design may be in order.

as for a sheet of paper - the most reliable way to pick up paper is with a low pressure vacuum or a “stick-um” pad on your end-effector.

yea, i agree with spyder, u would need to modify this a bit, as it only open to 1.3" if u didn’t see

also, i think i would be vise versa spyder, cause a flimsy cup will move and not hold postion, poiting stress that isn’t really accounted for, and the arm might flip

Here are a couple more nice gripper options that can be built with Lynxmotion parts:

Hi

Thank for the informations.

It is a small hard plastic cup. Something for a very very small child.
The cup can hold about 100ml max.

Which is the best gripper.

This one looks interesting… I can:t find the gripper on lynxmotion site.
How much does it cost.

I was thinking of this one because the price is cheap, but as some of you mention the gripper can only open 1.3" which is too small to do anything

Does anyone know what size it can open to. It is very hard to tell from the
picture.

Anyother suggestion on different type of gripper would be greatly appreciated.

Here it is, you have to look on the SES chassis page:

Of course you would need two of those plus the SES C and L brackets to put it all together.

Thank for all your help.

I just order these two grip from a local shop which carry lynxmotion products.

I will give these two a try…
Once again thank for giving me advice.
