Is it possible ton connect in parallel 2 motors to only one shield ?
I would like to drive 2 motors (exactly the same) in the same time (same speed and direction).
Hi @gerard
It is certainly possible to do so.
Please make sure the motor shield will be able to handle the motors, as you will basically be doubling the current needs on one port.
Thank you for the answer.
This is also my opinion.
I will try this and share the result of my experience.
Some additional information:
In parallel, the exact same voltage will go to both motor but the current drawn from the driver will be doubled (if the motors have exactly the same specs and have the same payload on their shafts)

OK, thanks. I will try and I will say the result.
But before I will do a force / torque test with a single motor and measure the current. If the driver is capable then I will test with 2 motors.
Thanks again
